AXIS GROUP, AUTOLOGIC FORM VENTURE TO DISTRIBUTE FORDS IN U.K.
Axis Group Inc., a subsidiary of Georgia-based Allied Holdings Inc.,
will form a joint venture with AutoLogic Holdings plc to manage the
distribution of Ford Motor Co. vehicles in the United Kingdom.
The 50/50 joint venture will start May 1.
Allied Holdings has had a long-term relationship with AutoLogic in
Europe and Ford in the U.S., said A. Mitchell Poole Jr., company president.
