Sen. Lynette Eastmond, who is the trade minister, met with Cuba's Pedro Garcia Roque in Barbados to discuss trade prospects and other business development issues, the report said.
Eastmond said she hoped the two countries 'would form business opportunities relating to renewable energy sources, particularly solar energy, in the near future.'
