Bartek elected TIACA chairman
Gary Bartek, marketing manager cargo development of Kansas City International Airport, has been elected to a two-year term as chairman of The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA).
Bartek replaces Dora Kay, who has been chairman since 2003.
Bartek’s election was made during TIACA’s annual general meeting and executive conference in Istanbul April 10-12.
Jack Boisen, Continental Airlines’ vice president cargo, was elected vice chairman of TIACA. Boisen is also a director of TIACA and chairman of the Air Cargo Council of the Air Transport Association.
