BA’s cargo up 3.5% in March
British Airways said Wednesday it carried 457 million cargo ton-kilometers in March, up 3.5 percent compared to 442 million cargo ton-kilometers transported in the same month last year. BA’s overall load factor in the month fell by 0.2 points to 70.5 percent.
After 11 months of its financial year ended April 30, BA has carried 4.92 billion cargo ton-kilometers, a marginal 0.5 percent decrease over 4.95 billion cargo ton-kilometers reported in the same year-earlier period. BA’s overall load factor for the financial year so far is flat at 69.7 percent.
