BAX’s Los Angeles freight station doubles in size

BAXÆs Los Angeles freight station doubles in size    BAX Global Inc., a $2.4 billion global supply chain and transportation solutions provider, recently said it more than doubled the capacity of its new Los Angeles station.
   Located near Los Angeles International Airport, the new facility is 243,000 square feet and has 106 truck bays. The previous BAX station had 96,000 square feet and 52 truck bays.
   BAX Global's new station features a true cross-dock operation, and has increased overall dock efficiency. The facility functions as a gateway for import and export ocean and air cargo. Included in this facility are BAX Global's domestic office and western regional hub.
   In addition to BAX Global's basic transportation and supply chain services through its three primary products — guaranteed, expedited, and deferred delivery services — the new facility offers refrigeration, customs brokerage, and supply chain management services.
