BBC starts Fla./South America breakbulk service    Houston-based breakbulk and heavy lift specialist BBC Chartering USA said Thursday it is starting a new service from Florida to northern Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Chile.
   The service, the Andino Express Line, starts in November with a monthly sailing from the Port of West Palm Beach.
   'This will mark the first time BBC Chartering has offered a liner service for shippers who use a Florida gateway,' the company said. 'Since its inception in 2005, BBC Andino Express Line has been offering breakbulk and shipper-owned container services for shippers from Houston to the West Coast of South America. This new service will enhance BBC Chartering's ability to service the South American marketplace and offer shippers a new alternative to current service providers by offering the call at the Port of West Palm Beach.'
   BBC Chartering has appointed Port Contractors Inc. as stevedores and port agents in West Palm Beach.
