BDP, GENCO partner to offer more logistics services

BDP, GENCO partner to offer more logistics services    BDP International, a freight forwarder and logistics provider, and Pittsburgh-based GENCO have struck an alliance to provide their respective customers with comprehensive domestic and international logistics coverage.
   Philadelphia-based BDP will outsource domestic ground transportation and distribution services to GENCO, which has a dense network of distribution centers and motor carrier partners in North America. GENCO, in return, will market BDP’s international forwarding, customs brokerage and warehousing services to its customers.
   The partnership is designed to give both privately held companies more scale in an industry that is rapidly consolidating to provide shippers all logistics functions under one roof.
