BDP opens Nuremberg, Germany project office
Philadelphia-based BDP International, a provider of logistics and transportation management services, has opened a project office in Nuremberg, Germany.
The company’s project logistics operation provides customized solutions that support construction, mining, power generation and other infrastructure projects worldwide.
“It is vital for us to enhance our project logistics capability in Europe, particularly Germany whose large industrial companies are migrating operations to every corner of the globe,” said Luc Van Heygen, head of BDP’s project logistics unit.
BDP has appointed Emanuel Scerra to manage the Nuremberg office. He was branch manager and director of project forwarding for JAS Forwarding GmbH, also based in Nuremberg. Also joining the new office from JAS Forwarding are Theodor K'hne and Roberto Lange.
