Bernuth Lines announces new charges Bernuth Lines will increase its inter-island bunker fuel charge and a general rate increase for vehicle shipments in the Nicaragua trade, effective Jan. 1.
   The inter-island bunker surcharge will increase from $196 to $221 for 20-foot containers and from $358 to $408 for 40-foot containers.
   The rate increase for all vehicle shipments between the United States and Nicaragua will be $100 for vehicles up to 1,000 cubic feet, $175 for vehicles with cargo up to 1,000 cubic feet, and $250 for trucks and buses up to 40 feet. The same increase also applies to trucks and buses with cargo. The change applies to shipments under both the public tariff and customers with service contracts.
