BIFA calls on recruitment firm to find new leader
The British International Freight Association has contracted the George Henderson Recruitment Group to help it find a new director general.
In late October, Quentin Rappoport, BIFA's original choice to replace Colin Beaumont, resigned as director general (designate), resulting in Beaumont postponing his planned retirement.
'BIFA is the established representative body for the international freight industry,” Beaumont said. 'It will be critical that the new director general is able to provide the sort of leadership that will enable members to develop in the global economy against a background of ever changing customer demands and new legislation.'
BIFA said it expects to make an appointment later this year.
