BIRTLEY MOVING TO GEOLOGISTICS EMEA REGION

BIRTLEY MOVING TO GEOLOGISTICS EMEA REGION    GeoLogistics Corp., a North American, non-asset based    global logistics provider, said it has transferred Andrew Birtley from its Asia Pacific region to its Europe, Middle East And Africa, where he will be Senior Vice President in Sales and Marketing.
   Birtley has been with GeoLogistics China since 1991, where he began there as a branch manager in the Shanghai office. In 1993, Birtley moved to the GeoLogistics Asia Pacific Head Office in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for regional sales development.
   In his new position, Birtley will be responsible for developing the EMEA region’s business from a sales and marketing standpoint, working in close cooperation with the chief executive officers of the countries in the EMEA region. Birtley will also be the EMEA region’s representative on GeoLogistic’s new Global Sales and Marketing team led by Asia Pacific CEO Wolfgang Hollermann.
