BNSF ADDS FOUR LANES TO TIME-DEFINITE INTERMODAL SERVICE    Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Co. said Monday that it will add four lanes to its guaranteed on-time intermodal service program, starting March 19.
   The new lanes are Chicago/Denver, St. Paul, Minn./Seattle, St. Paul/Portland, Ore., and Memphis, Tenn./San Bernardino, Calif.
   Fort Worth, Texas-based BNSF, which started the guaranteed intermodal service in May, now offers 10 lanes connecting major U.S. markets.
   The guarantee allows shippers to purchase, for a premium, a service guarantee for three intermodal service levels for domestic intermodal shipments. For loads that do not meet the scheduled availability time for customer pickup, BNSF will offer a 100-percent refund.
