BNSF CEO Rose elected to AMR board
Matthew K. Rose, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp., a major U.S. railroad, has been elected to the board of directors of AMR Corp., the parent company of American Airlines.
Rose, 45, joined the Burlington Northern Railroad in 1993. Before that, he worked for Triple Crown Services, a subsidiary of Norfolk Southern Railroad, and Schneider National, a provider of trucking and logistics services.
