The logistics provider will expand its presence into Mexico via its subsidiary, BNSF Railway Servicios de Logistica, located in Queretaro, Mexico.
Multi-modal logistics provider BNSF Logistics, LLC announced its expansion into Mexico on Thursday, via its subsidiary, BNSF Railway Servicios de Logistica.
The subsidiary will handle freight within Mexico, including over-the-road truckload, temperature-controlled, flatbed, less-than-truckload and intermodal freight.
Located in Queretaro, the office will “build the market and provide Mexico with a new level of support that BNSF Logistics is known for in the global market,” the company said.
BNSF Logistics is itself a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway-owned Burlington Northern Santa Fe, LLC, offering import and export freight movement services for general and project cargo.
