Boozman named ranking member of House water resources subcommittee

Boozman named ranking member of House water resources subcommittee Rep. John Boozman, R-Ark., has been appointed ranking member of the House Water Resources and Environment Subcommittee.
   He replaces former Rep. Richard Baker as the top Republican of the subcommittee, which has jurisdiction over water resources development, conservation and management, pollution control, water infrastructure, and hazardous waste cleanup. Federal agencies under the subcommittee's jurisdiction include the Army Corps of Engineers and Environmental Protection Agency.
   Boozman has represented Arkansas' 3rd congressional district since 2001, and has served on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee since first elected.
