Bouchard replacing Griffin for Ryder international

Bouchard replacing Griffin for Ryder international Miami-based Ryder System Inc. said Wednesday that David Bouchard has been appointed senior vice president and general manager of international operations, taking the post of Bobby J. Griffin, who is retiring.
   Bouchard had been senior vice president of high-tech and consumer industries for Ryder's U.S. supply chain solutions business segment. He has also been vice president of Ryder's dedicated contract carriage segment, where he was responsible for the operations and strategic development of this custom transportation operation.
   In his new position, he reports to Gregory T. Swienton, Ryder chairman and chief executive officer.
   'Dave's experience in leading operations teams and supporting global supply chain customers will be important drivers in the growth of our global operations,' Swienton said. 'We are confident in his ability to continue Ryder's tradition of borderless customer service and operational excellence.'
