BOX CLUB CARRIER CEOS MEET IN SHANGHAI    Thirty chief executive officers or senior executives of container shipping lines met in Shanghai on Tuesday (March 19) as members of the Box Club to discuss industry issues.
   The meeting was hosted by Wei Jiafu, president of the China Ocean Shipping Co. group, and chaired by Ib Kruse, chairman of the Box Club and an advisor to Denmark’s A.P. Moller group. Kruse is also a former partner of A.P. Moller and former senior executive of Maersk.
   Wei discussed the possibilities of further cooperation with other members of the club “on the basis of mutual benefit,” COSCO said in a statement.
   The contents of the discussions of the group of carrier CEOs are not disclosed.
