Britvic outsources U.K. soft drinks distribution to Kuehne + Nagel
Britvic Soft Drinks, owners of Pepsi and other soft drinks brands, has decided to fully outsource its secondary retail distribution and full service vending operations in the United Kingdom to the drinks distribution arm of Swiss company Kuehne + Nagel.
Under the terms of a 10-year contract, KN Drinks Logistics will undertake deliveries of Britvic soft drinks to pubs, bars and food service outlets across the country, along with the replenishment of 10,000 vending machines. Britvic’s employees previously responsible for those operations will transfer to Kuehne + Nagel.
