Broward firm developing Argentina tech park
Broward County-based international investment company Taurus Investment Holdings is planning to spend $100 million on the development of a technology park new Buenos Aires, Argentina, according to a report in the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
The company is working in cooperation with the for-profit Austral University to build the technology center, which is targeting major multinational companies expanding their operations in Latin America.
The report said Taurus would initially spend $15 million on four 30,000-square-foot buildings, which will be marketed to software, communications, chemical and pharmaceutical companies.
Taurus has been involved in development projects in Latin America since the 1970s. It is based in Deerfield Beach.
