Broward trade groups plan Mexico mission

The Broward County office of Economic Development and the Broward Alliance said Wednesday they are sponsoring a trade mission to Mexico June 10-15.

The trade mission is being arranged with the help of Enterprise Florida, the public/private state trade promotion agency. The mission will visit Merida and Guadalajara, and will be led by Broward County Mayor Josephus Eggelletion Jr.

'This cost effective mission will provide companies with an excellent opportunity to establish business contacts in Mexico,' said Bob Swindell, senior vice president of business development for the Broward Alliance. 'Companies will have personalized one-on-one appointment arranged in both markets, and will be able to participate in a myriad of networking opportunities in both cities.'
