Lim was a former Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal commissioner and has 30 years experience in the domestic and international maritime and shipping industry. He also served six years as a diplomat at the South Korean embassy in the United Kingdom.
“I aim to develop Busan Port’s role as a transshipment hub of the Northeast Asian region through global planning and strategic vision,” he said in a statement.
