Cadec Global will now provide deeper performance management scorecards to help fleet managers track and report on driver and vehicle performance in real time.
As part of its PowerVue system, these scorecards will provide fleet managers with an intuitive report on driver behavior based on certain key performance indicators (KPIs) that are developed to determine issues like idling, over-engine revving, sudden deceleration, and speeding. The scorecards attempt to provide a quick, easy-to-read process by using a display of green, yellow, and red statuses.
PowerVue offers more than 50 metrics so fleet managers can monitor a wide range of details in real-time, as well as develop and generate periodic reports on activities and statistics like miles per gallon, route changes or unexpected stops, and performance during delivery and pickup. The metrics can be built around the driver, vehicle, site, and costs.
Managers can also view trending data, current vehicle statuses, and KPIs on dashboards covering their entire fleet. Cadec said this view will help them define and narrow KPIs to the most relevant factors around cost, performance, and what to adjust to get back on track.
