Camelot 3PL, B2BGateway partner on EDI

   B2BGateway and Camelot 3PL Software will partner to develop an integrated cloud-based electronic-data-interchange solution for Camelot’s clients. 
   EDI has become a best practice for companies doing business internationally and need to file data between third party logistics companies, shippers, and customs agencies.
   Camelot 3PL Software said it sought an EDI solution that was cost-effective and could seamlessly integrate with its business management solution, 3PLink. B2BGateway developed a cloud-based EDI that can do the integration and supports a variety of documents including advance shipping notices.
   Camelot said the new EDI will allow its clients to trade in all recognized international EDI standards and communication protocols, such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, Tradacoms, Eancom, Odette, XML, VAN, FTPs, and AS2. These documents and protocols are automatically generated by the system and don’t require users to re-enter information into their systems.
   The partnership with B2BGateway allows Camelot’s customers access to EDI without taking on new costs, the companies said.
