CANADA/EUROPE CONFERENCES REDUCE BUNKER CHARGES
The Canada/Europe conferences will reduce their eastbound and westbound bunker charges, effective June 1.
The revised “interim fuel participation” charges will be set at $50 (U.S.) per 20-foot container and $100 per 40-footer, as compared to the current $74 per 20-foot box and $148 per 40-footer.
The members of the Canada/northern Europe conferences are Atlantic Container Line, Canada Maritime, Cast, Hapag-Lloyd and Orient Overseas Container Line.
