CANADA/NORTHERN EUROPE CONFERENCES LOWER BUNKER CHARGES
The Canada/northern Europe conferences will reduce their eastbound and westbound bunker charges, effective Sept. 1.
The revised “interim fuel participation” charges will be set at $61 per 20-foot container and $122 per 40-footer, as compared to the current $69 per 20-foot container and $138 per 40-foot box.
The members of the Canada/northern Europe conferences are Atlantic Container Line, Canada Maritime, Cast, Hapag-Lloyd and Orient Overseas Container Line.
