Canada signs first ever air transport agreements with Croatia, Serbia

Canada has signed its first ever air transport agreements with the Balkan republics of Croatia and Serbia for scheduled air service.

Under the agreement with Croatia, carriers from both countries are allowed to serve destinations of their choice in the other country.

The agreement with Serbia allows carriers from both countries to provide service to points of their choice in the other country. This agreement will provide rights for each country to designate any number of carriers to operate scheduled air services between the two countries. The agreement also includes a flexible pricing regime, and strong safety and security provisions. In addition to operating their own aircraft, carriers can provide code-sharing services.
