Under the terms of the deal, Canadian and British airlines will be able to offer virtually unlimited passenger and cargo flights to and from third countries via Canada or the United Kingdom. The same airlines will also face no restrictions on how they set their prices when carrying traffic through their own country’s cities to the third country.
The agreement is expected to come into effect on Sept. 1.
