CANADIAN NATIONAL OPENS INTERMODAL HUB IN EDMONTON    Canadian National has opened its new Edmonton Intermodal Terminal, located on 370 acres of land adjacent to CN’s transcontinental main line. The facility provides truckers easy access to the Yellowhead Trail to reach key cities throughout Northern Alberta.
   The terminal will operate seven days a week, with an initial annual capacity of 150,000 intermodal units. It is equipped with three front-lift mobile cranes and has seven tracks that can accommodate trains up to 12,000 feet long. Two pad tracks can handle full-length trains without switching.
