CAPSTAN ALIGNS WITH TRADECARD
Capstan Systems Inc., a California-based developer of online logistics systems, has formed an alliance with TradeCard to bring trade transaction and settlement capabilities to its clients.
Capstan and TradeCard said they will work to provide common customers with fulfillment and financial services, including shipping, clearance, receipt of goods, purchase order negotiation, order management, landed cost and trade financing.
“One of the greatest challenges of global e-commerce is aligning the movement of goods and their associated documents with the international financial processes for procurement and settlement,” said Kurt Cavano, chairman and chief executive officer of TradeCard. “Capstan and TradeCard share a common vision for creating a global infrastructure to facilitate international trade.
