Cargo 2000 bolsters membership roll
Saudi Arabian Airlines has become the 26th major international airline to join the Cargo 2000 quality control initiative for the air cargo industry.
Cargo 2000 is sponsored by the International Air Transport Association as a standardized management system designed to improve cargo service by streamlining processes, establishing performance indicators, and automating costly manual, paper-based functions.
Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd., which operates the largest air cargo terminal in the world, has also joined Cargo 2000, the organization said.
