BATA Leasing LLC, a joint venture between Boeing Capital Corp. and American Trans Air Holdings Corp, owns the aircraft. The conversion program will continue through the second quarter of 2005.
Earlier this year, Jacksonville, Fla.-based Flightstar completed conversions for four 727 also operated by Astar, the successor company to DHL Airways.
Astar operates 40 aircraft, 24 of which are 727 models. Most of its fleet is leased.
