Cargolux CEO search ongoing

   Cargolux Airlines Wednesday said its search for a new chief executive officer remains ongoing and that it has not selected a new CEO, despite media reports. 
   According to a statement, the carrier’s consulting firm “had been commissioned with identifying interested candidates and tasked with shortlisting the most suitable individuals for this post after the expiry of the application submission deadline” on Feb. 12.
   The carrier’s chief operating officer, Peter van de Pas, announced on Jan. 28 that he will leave his position on March 31. Robert van de Weg, the carrier’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, resigned on Jan. 23 “due to differences with the board of directors regarding Cargolux’s strategy for the future,” according to the carrier.
