Cargolux starts second weekly Luxembourg/Saudi Arabia service

Cargolux starts second weekly Luxembourg/Saudi Arabia service    Luxembourg-based all-cargo airline Cargolux today added a second weekly Luxembourg to Dammam, Saudi Arabia service, following the start of the first service last October.
   The new Luxembourg/Dammam service uses a Boeing 747 freighter aircraft departing Luxembourg every Thursday at 11:50 a.m., arriving in Dammam the same day at 6:50 p.m. local time.
   The existing service leaves Luxembourg on Monday’s at 9 p.m., arriving in Dammam on Tuesday morning at 4:45 a.m.
   Cargolux said onboard freight for Dammam includes oil-drilling equipment from Houston, plus machinery and general cargo. On the return leg, mainly parts for repair are flown back to manufacturers.
