“The translation into Italian is yet another step to further localize a global service,” the company said.
CargoNow has formed a partnership with Logistics Solutions S.R.L. to run CargoNow in Italy. Massimo Lucifredi will lead the effort, scheduled for formal launch in first quarter 2001.
CargoNow has set up partners in regions around the globe and is hoping to penetrate local markets with online service for procuring transportation services. The company recently opened an office in Eastern Europe.
