Non-vessel-operating common carrier CaroTrans has expanded its partnership with Craft Multimodal for both less-than-containerloads and full-containerloads to the east coast
of South America.
The companies
will now operate together in Argentina and Uruguay, in addition to their
11-year exclusive relationship in Brazil.
The
partnership will provide end-to-end local support and service from
CaroTrans’ 14 offices and 25 container freight stations and
Craft’s 120-member sales and service team. The Craft Group currently controls about 40 percent of
Brazil’s LCL market.
In April, CaroTrans announced a new LCL export service direct from
Miami to Itajai, Brazil.
