CAROTRANS ENHANCES LCL SERVICE TO SPAIN, MED/NORTH AFRICA    CaroTrans International Inc., the neutral non-vessel-operating common carrier, has expanded its less-than-containerload services in Spain, the Mediterranean and North Africa through a partnership with Lo Trans Logistica y Transporte S.A.
   Based in Barcelona, Lo Trans operates seven offices within the Iberian peninsula and operates extensive LCL service throughout the Mediterranean region.
   CaroTrans will provide direct weekly service from New York and Charleston to Barcelona, which will serve as a relay point for Spain, Portugal, Mediterranean and North American markets.
   “Our LCL service is greatly enhanced into destinations such as Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Cyprus, the Canary Islands, Tunisia, Algeria and Greece in addition to Spain and Portugal,” said Greg Howard, executive vice president of CaroTrans.
