CAROTRANS, MAYAN OVERSEAS FORGE AGENCY AGREEMENT
CaroTrans International has formed an arrangement with Mayan Overseas to serve as each other’s agent in their home markets.
CaroTrans, a Union, N.J.-based neutral non-vessel-operating common carrier, operates 11 U.S. offices and has 26 receiving stations in North America. “This is a partnership that will benefit our customer base with seamless services into and out of Israel,” said Michael Forkenbrock, vice president of sales for CaroTrans.
Mayan Overseas is one of the largest NVOs operating in Israel. The company operates from five offices in Israel.
“Mayan Overseas is primarily focused on developing trade in the U.S./Israel market,” said Eitan Varman, managing director for Mayan Overseas “Our sales staff are knowledgeable and experienced in this market and will provide CaroTrans significant reach into this market.”
