Non-vessel-operating common carrier CaroTrans International has opened an office in Santiago, Chile to support its expansion in South America.
The office is headed by Raul Katz, CaroTrans' Latin America manager.
'The opening of the CaroTrans Chile office continues our investment in CaroTrans’ global infrastructure, and local support and care of customers in South America,' said Greg Howard, global chief executive officer, in a statement. 'This is a very important market for the global shipping industry and our expansion makes certain that we will have the resources in place to provide the highest level of customer service and support for our global network.'
With this new office in Chile, CaroTrans along with its dedicated partners Craft, Overseas and Inca Line plans to strengthen its market position in Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Ecuador.
