Carriers to start Southeast Asia/Indian subcontinent loop
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd., Advance Container Lines (Pte) Ltd., and
Simatech Shipping & Forwarding will begin a joint weekly service between India and the Singapore Straits.
The Nhava Sheva Tuticorin Straits Express (NTX) will use three ships of about 800 TEUs each and will start the service with the departure of the vessel “MOL Ambition” from Singapore Nov. 5.
The full port rotation of the NTX service includes Singapore, Port Kelang, Nhava Sheva, Colombo, Tuticorin, Colombo, Port Kelang and Singapore.
MOL said it currently has three weekly services in the Southeast Asia/Indian subcontinent trade.
