Cathay, also a major carrier of air cargo in Asia, said it will increase its number of flights to Jeddah from four times a week to daily, effective March 28. The airline began service to Saudi Arabia's second major commercial city in October 2009.
With the additional flights to Jeddah, Cathay will operate a total of 14 flights a week to Saudi Arabia, including daily service to Riyadh.
Cathay will increase its frequency to Sapporo in July and August from four flights a week to daily service.
