CATHAY LAUNCHES NEW WEB SITE    Cathay Pacific Airways, the Hong Kong-based airline, has launched a new cargo Web site at https://www.cathaypacificcargo.com , which offers services such as shipment status messaging and track-and-trace functions.
   Users can access tracing information directly from Cathay’s internal systems for shipments on Cathay planes as well as those of its partners, including Air Hong Kong, American Airlines, Dragonair and Lufthansa Cargo. Users can also see schedule and status information for freight and passenger flights.
   Cathay said it hopes to add more features to its site in coming months. That includes online booking; proactive tracking; house air waybill and unit load device number tracking; wireless access to tracking information; and customized home pages for forwarding clients.
   Cathay also said it plans to announce several e-commerce related joint ventures and partnerships.
