Cathay Pacific adding extra freighter services to Dallas, Atlanta    Cathay Pacific Airways is increasing the frequency of its freighter service between Hong Kong and the cities of Dallas and Atlanta in the United States from four flights a week to six a week, effective July 25.
   The service will become daily when another flight is added on Sundays from Aug. 25.
   The Hong Kong airline, which also flies to New York, started the service to Dallas and Atlanta in November 2005. “Demand to and from both Dallas and Atlanta has been strong since the launch of these two new routes,” said Ron Mathison, Cathay Pacific’s director and general manager cargo.
   “The additional of three more frequencies bringing the freighter service to daily will make our service more attractive to shippers and strengthen Hong Kong as a regional hub for air cargo,” he added.
   Cathay also flies its freighters to Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles in the United States, and Toronto and Vancouver in Canada.
