CBP discovers opium, fake computer components

U.S. Customs and Border Protection inspectors working on site at the UPS main package hub at Louisville International Airport seized more than 14 pounds of opium concealed in attach'-style bags, the agency said.

The search was conducted after a check of the manifest information described the contents as “bag” and raised suspicion. The drugs were found inside the lining of several bags.

In a separate enforcement action, CBP said it seized more than $100,000 worth of computer keyboards with fake Microsoft “flag” logos at the Port of Savannah, Ga.

A total of 2,575 pieces were seized after the container they arrived in was selected for an examination.
