CBP names Passic drug policy director
Gary Passic was named director of the newly formed Office of Drug Interdiction at U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Passic will be the principle advisor to Commissioner Robert Bonner on counter narcotics activities, and work to coordinate implementation of such policies along the border with other offices responsible for field operations.
Passic has 34 years experience with the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network and the U.S. Customs Service.
