U.S. Customs and Border Protection recently announced the Nov. 16 seizure of 24,660 counterfeit Beats headphones in a rail container at the Portal, N.D., border checkpoint. The fake headphones made to resemble the original Beats version were manufactured in China. The retail price of a comparable shipment of legitimate Beats devices is $10.7 million.
