CCNI expands fleet    The Chilean shipping line Compania Chilena de Navegacion Interoceanica (CCNI) will take delivery of four containerships by June 2006, of which three will be deployed on the route between Asia and the West Coast of South America.
   A 2,800-TEU vessel is scheduled to be delivered in May. Three 3,100-TEU ships, to be delivered in December and March-June 2006, are earmarked for the Asia/West Coast of South America route.
   “These ships will be the biggest in operation in their respective traffic lanes and the largest able to operate in the ports of the West Coast of South America,” CCNI said in a statement.
   CCNI is investing $140 million to purchase three of the ships, after years of not investing in its fleet.
   The Chilean shipping line' trading results have improved, as it made a $17.1 million profit in 2004 when compared to an $8.9 million loss in 2003.
