CCNI, MARUBA, LYKES SUBMIT PACIFIC COOPERATION TO FMC    Chilean carrier Compania Chilena de Navegacion Interoceanica, Argentina’s Maruba S.C.A. and Lykes Lines have filed a transpacific vessel-sharing agreement with the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission.
   Unless the regulator raises an objection, the cooperative agreement between the three shipping lines would allow them to operate a weekly container liner service between Long Beach and mainland China. The pact also defines the allocation of space and other matters related to the service. The carriers have requested expedited review by the FMC.
   Compania Chilena de Navegacion Interoceanica, Maruba and Lykes have small shares of the Asia/U.S. container trade.
   Their transpacific cooperative agreement is understood to be part of a wider joint service that calls at ports in Asia, California and the West Coast of South America.
