CENSUS TO HOLD AESDIRECT WORKSHOP IN JFK AREA
The U.S. Census Bureau will hold a workshop in the JFK Airport area on March 1 to instruct exporters and freight forwarders on how to use its free Internet link, AESDirect, to the Automated Export System.
The AESDirect workshop will be held in two sessions, 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the LaGuardia Community College in Long Island City, N.Y.
All participants must pre-register and have an AESDirect user name and password to use at the training session. These can be obtained by going online to http://www.aesdirect.gov and click onto “Registration Form.” Registration must be completed at least three days prior to the workshop date.
