Ceres appoints Simmers marketing executive VP
Ceres Terminals Inc. has appointed Thomas J. Simmers as executive vice president, sales and marketing.
Simmers is a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and brings with him 29 years of experience in the terminal operating and stevedoring business.
He will be based in the port company’s Weehawken, N.J. headquarters. Ceres is part of the Japanese group NYK.
