China-based ANJI Automotive Logistics and Netherlands-based CEVA Logistics have renewed their joint venture, ANJI-CEVA Logistics.
The renewal will extend the life of the joint venture for another 15 years, and will expand the business scope to non-automotive contract logistics in China and Hong Kong, the companies said.
The initial focus on the new scope will involve industrial and aerospace, technology, consumer and retail sectors, and e-commerce logistics.
The joint venture was first established in 2002, and was formally called AJNI-CEVA Automotive Logistics. After 15 years, the joint venture has $1 billion in revenues, and offers inbound logistics, aftermarket contract logistics, import/export logistics and a ground transportation network.
